Greensburg Soda Fountain

The Soda Fountain is a "living history" portion of the museum. Hunter Drug was built in 1917, and originally housed the soda fountain in operation today!

Many Kiowa County Residents, as well as some tourists, remember Richard "Dick" Huckriede serving the soda fountain from 1952 until the 2007 tornado.

After the tornado, the original soda fountain was refurbished and included in the Kiowa County Museum.

Below is an article from the Hutchinson Newspaper, written about Dick Huckriede's 50 year anniversary at the soda fountain.
